Branded #2

Zoo York

This was for Zoo York South Africa in Durban.

I drew my inspiration from this:

I have again made used of 6mm Quilling paper. I made 378 tight scrolls in total used 9450 cm of paper. It took me a hole day to roll all this. I must say I got some help from my hubby and our two year old Twin boys.

I had to complete this Zoo York cracker in two days. I just love the outcome.

Branded

Ecko Unltd

My latest order that I had to do were some Paper Quilling goodies for Ecko Unltd South Africa based in Durban.

This was a challenge for me as I tried out some new Quilling techniques that I have never tried before.
After some researched on the brand logo, I have decided to make use of some of the Ecko tattoo art as inspiration.

This is the Tattoo art from Ecko Unltd.

The fist one (This one if my favourite) in a black and white boxed frame.
I have used 1800cm of 6mm quilling paper and 8 Swarovski crystals.

Red Ecko Rino

The second on I have used 1050cm of 6mm quilling paper in a black and white boxed frame.

Black and white Ecko Rino
The third one I have used 1950cm of 6mm quilling paper to create the word Ecko and framed in a Blue and white boxed frame.

Turquoise Ecko
This project took me a bout two weeks to complete and I enjoyed every moment of it.
And by the way they loved it.

Challenge 101

Lets play Doll #2

I've been asked to make Doll arms (up to the elbow) out of paper clay. Have never done this before, but will give it a try.

So I have started to plan and then decided that I will use a mould for this, reason, I wanted to see how the Paper clay will work in a mould and how will the final product come out.

I have lined the mould with the clay, and once dried, "glued" the two half's together with paper clay.

I'm quite please with the outcome of this.

total wet weight of the arms 45gm

Below are the other doll heads that I had to make, after the first two from my previous post "Lets play Doll".

Done this one for the same Doll maker that wanted the arms
